Use this One Technique Hack to Instantly Boost Starting Speed

This is the ONE trick that athletes almost never do naturally that has the power to instantly boost starting speed to separate from opponents.

It’s all about where you foot hits the ground.

Fast starts happen when the foot lands directly underneath (or even behind) the waist. Take a look at the pictures above.

Both are pretty good, but look at the picture in the top right. The box is over his hips, and the green line shows where his foot lands. Notice his foot is way out in front of his hips.

Now look at the bottom picture. The green line runs through the back half of the box.

This makes his start SIGNIFICANTLY faster!

We can draw an analogy to skiing. I don’t ski, but I can imagine that if I did, I’d want to thrust the skis into the ground behind me–I wouldn’t want to thrust them forward in front of me (unless I wanted to move backwards!).

I’ve noticed two things over and over:

1. Most kids don’t do this technique naturally, and

2. When they learn it, they immediately feel faster.
